Twynyho and Morton (to Hilary)

Hilary, a couple of days ago you mentioned the Twynyhos and Morton in the same message - I can no longer find that message so I'm not sure what you were talking about, but it reminded me of something I've been thinking about for a while...
You said that you and Marie have been looking into the Twynyhos - do you know if John Twynyho/Twiniho/Twinyho of Cirencester was Ankarette's son, grandson, stepson or anything of the like? This John Twynyho's daughter Dorothy married Morton's nephew Thomas, which strikes me as interesting, to say the least. Some online sources Dorothy and Thomas Morton had a child born in 1477, but I don't know if that's reliable.

Yet another strand Pansy!. Yes I do have Dorothy Twynyho married to Thomas Morton of Lechlade. I have her as the daughter of John Twynyho merchant of Cirencester, the brother in law of Ankarette. I actually hadn't registered the name Morton but I should have! And Margery Twyynho, Abbess of Shaftesbury second cousing of Thomas and Dorothy, seems to have succeeded Margaret St John, MB's half sister in that post and her brother Chrisopher Twynyho was Steward. Oh what a web. Back to work Hilary!

Thanks, Hilary! That's very interesting about Margery Twynyho - what a tangled web, once again...
I found it interesting how often Clarence's name occurs in connection with this John Twynyho. Bah, I can't copy-paste the address for some reason, so just google:girders john twynyho 1485
