Does anyone recognise this book?

A US friend of mine records audio books for the blind, and is trying to locate some books she read possibly two decades ago. She has asked me to see if anyone on the forum recognizes this particular one. Might you be so kind as to inquire about a book from 15-20 years ago - a young adult tale about RIII, but I can't recall if it was set then, and the boy befriended him, or if it was set now, and the boy used RIII as his hero. I'm pretty sure it wasn't The King's Bed. I taped it back then, too, and I seem to recall something about bows and arrows. Or not. This kind of thing drives me nuts! Not much to go on, I fear. I certainly don't know it, but if it was Young Adult, I doubt if I would. It's a long time since I was a Young Adult! Unfortunately. Sandra =^..^=

I have a book that is called "Knight on Horseback" by Ann Rabinowitz from 1987.
The summary says:Thirteen year old asthmatic Edward reluctantly accompanies his family on a trip to England, where he becomes acquainted with the ghost of an historical figure, whose unclear intentions cause Edward some anxiety before that relationship resolves both itself and problems between Edward and his father as well.
Could it be the one your friend is thinking of?
