Genealogical challenge
Genealogical challenge
2004-06-27 21:46:01
Would anyone else like to take up the Five Century Challenge? Take a
(noble?) figure from Richard's lifetime and trace his or her heir in
2004.
PS Anyone choosing Henry VII or Norfolk (public knowledge), Clarence
or Hastings (completed by Jones last tear) or Buckingham (by me this
month) will be disqualified!
I have suggested two free websites and one pay site that may be of
use. Some starting figures will be easier than others.

I'll take a look at these sites. I'm interested in descendants, if
any, of Cardinal Henry Beaufort's two bastard children. I'll have to
look up their names -- there was a boy and a girl -- but they were
from Greek mythology as I recall.

Nice idea but I fear I will have to pass - will not be here for next
8 weeks except rarely and am writing an academic paper so that gets
precedence. Enjoy yourselves!
