George
George
biography of Clarence. In the Edward III family tree the Black Prince's
son became Richard III!
Also if anyone is interested, there is a house for sale that backs onto
the castle at Middleham, while the castle [or rather English Heritage]
is also looking for someone to take care of the site!
Before you all rush, remember that Middleham is a very small community,
and is a long drive from any large shops and social amenities!
I almost bought a cottage opposite Barnard Castle recently, but managed
to resist. [btw I still think Barnard was Richard's favourite home
rather than Middleham, and anyone who has sat in the window seat beneath
his boar badge and looked at the view will know why!]
