Annette Carson's new blog

Has everyone seen Annette's new blog at http://www.ajcarson.co.uk/357052358? AJ just pointed it out to me offlist, in particular the article on Richard's scoliosis on the Ricardian Topics page, http://www.ajcarson.co.uk/357052362. (Thanks, AJ!) Annette raises some interesting questions regarding among other things, the layout of the bones in the widely circulated photo and questions whether valid conclusions can be drawn from this photograph, which, she argues (and I agree), does not represent the way his skeleton would have appeared in life--or would have looked, I add, if X-rays existed in those days. She suggests that a second opinion from a scoliosis specialist is in order. I didn't see a place to comment, but possibly people are doing so on Facebook (which I have yet to figure out and generally avoid like the, er, sweating sickness). I wish Annette would rejoin our forum, but she doesn't seem in any hurry to do so.

Yes it was excellent. Wasn't there a conversation on this forum, when Richard was first found, regarding the way the skeleton had been laid out. Good for Annette, telling it like it is.

Carol, thank you for posting the link to Anette Carson's new blog. There is so much common sense in her article about the scoliosis. I hope it will be read by somebody who has the interest and power to order a re-assessment of the conclusions, that were based on the photograph.But who could that be?
