KING RICHARD TAKES CITY ON MEDIEVAL TOUR
Artisan swordplay overseen by a monarch of the realm will be in store for visitors to Gloucester....
King Richard III will take charge of a weekend full of fun and excitement, as medieval re-enactors provide a taste of life in ancient Gloucester.
The Medieval Gloucester Show takes place on August 9 and 10 on the bowling green behind the City Museum.
Paul James, leader of Gloucester City Council, said We know just how much interest people in the city have in this period of history and in Richard III himself. To have a monarch of the realm oversee this event will be brilliant fun and entertainment.
Day tickets are £4 for adults, £3 concessions
and £9 for a family ticket.
Weekend passes are also available.
I don't know any more than this, but will post whatever I learn.
