"I would like to think that the time chosen for Richard's reinternment
is indicative of a new start.25th of March is significant to me,
because it is my youngest daughter's birthday. It is also Ladyday, one of
the quarter days of the English calendar. In Richard's time it was the
first day of the new year.As he will be in effect "lying in state" on
that day, and then the re-burial service will be the next day, let us
sincerely hope that it will be new year, new start for his reputation
too."

I noticed that 25 March was the old New Year too and hope it's a good

26th March is my younger daughter's birthday and her name is, er, Katharine. Well it had to be didn't it :) :) So a good omen for me too. H
