Paul Trevor Bale
Channel 4 is broadcasting the programme about Richard's scoliosis Sunday
night [21.00 C4 UK] accompanied by a blurb that has me fuming with anger!
"Would his spinal deformity have prevented him from leading the charge
at Bosworth?"
So he remains "deformed" in spite of the programme hopefully explaining
that scoliosis is NOT a deformity; is it suggesting that he did not
actually lead the charge all of us, historians and amateurs alike, know
he led and at the end of which he was cut down and killed? So he just
wandered into the place he was killed did he shouting 'fair cop!'
This kind of carelessness makes my blood boil!
When is Richard ever going to get fairly and properly written and talked
about by the general public?

I also see they are going to have a man who supposedly has the same scoliosis as Richard. Unless he trained for battle (from a very young age) as Richard did, I don't see how they can make a comparison.Vickie
