I heard that programme, because I have a rather nasty virus infection and lying in bed listening to Radio 4 was the limit of my abilities yesterday.
Thank you for posting the link, Wednesday, it is an absolutely excellent programme. I will get up today, and listen to it again.

Sorry for being a bit thick here but am I missing something? Philippa said during Great Lives that Richard's remains will be interred in a lab as they are deemed to fragile to move yet it appears they will move to Boswell in the coffin. So what exactly will be buried at Leicester Cathedral? If his remains are to be kept in a lab, in what situation?

Can someone please shed some light on this for me?

Thanks Gillian

Richard's remains lie in a lab now, they will be moved to Bosworth from there and then
back to Leicester where they will finally be interred in Leicester Cathederal.
The looking for Richard team would have whished that the remains could have lain in a place of
sancticity instead of a lab. But this was not to happen.
So Richard's remains will rest in the Cathderal after the reinterrment cermonies in March!

What Philippa and Annette objected to in the prog is that the remains will be *coffined* in a lab. They would like the ceremony of coffining the remains (with prayers, and JAH's rosary) to take place in a place of sanctity
