I've just read on a fb Group that the admin of the Battle of Bosworth Heritage Society has deleted a post sharing LFR's latest petition urging for Richard III's mortal remains to be coffined in a place of sanctity.

Leicester Cathedral: Richard III should be Coffined in a Holy Place, not as scientific specimen

The admin of this fb Group is JoeAnn Ricca, president of the Richard III Foundation. Good grief...

Ms Ricca is currently holding forth on a pro-Leicester Facebook page, expressing some very negative thoughts about the LFR generally.

I guess she will be then giving back the priority seats tickets she was awarded for the reinterment ceremony that would be held without the LFR team, right? Mac

I think she is looking forward to the reinterment ceremony - everything that the Leicester authorities have done and are doing is apparently all good and "with dignity and honour" -

Did the Foundation receive the same number of tickets as the Society? Did the Friends of Richard III group receive any, I wonder?

All good questions. JoeAnn allegedly gave her own ticket to someone else.

She's already given her ticket away.

Speaking of which, what, exactly, is a "Service of Reveal and Celebration"? Because that's what I received an invitation to.

That IS strange since tickets are non-transfer able according TO the invitations office

Maybe as head of her organisation, she has somewhat more control (?). Though it would have been much more "fair" if she couldn't use a ticket, to allow it to go to the "waiting" list. As I understand, close to 2000 requests arrived for 25 seats at each service. Some ballots were disqualified (about 800?) due to "postage owing," while others did not complete their ballots correctly....
If someone were both willing (and permitted) to give away a ticket, I'd crawl over a mine field to get it...
At least I know of one dear friend who got a ticket; it's brilliant, and while I may be a bit envious, I am not Jealous (if you can understand the distinction).
