I don't know whether this news is of any significance as 1) I don't own a smart phone and don't "do" apps, and 2) it may apply only to the UK, but it looks as if the BBC *will* be involved in Richard III reburial coverage and those with smart phones can access it or at least receive alerts by texting "king" via WhatsApp (the alert service to a specific number.
