A very short poem

This expresses a very serious historical point, that Anne Boleyn
refused to be Henry's mistress, although such people had a greater
life expectancy.
"No wed, no bed!" cost Anne her head
refused to be Henry's mistress, although such people had a greater
life expectancy.
"No wed, no bed!" cost Anne her head

It should be remembered that Anne's brother and sister-in-law were also both executed whilst her sister, who was Henry's mistress died of natural causes.
