I understand there are people on the list who have not been
through the "casting exercise" before. That is why I suggested they
check the archives to see who was put forward as the major players
in the past.
It is interesting that Mark Rylance, who is currently Artistic
Director of the new Globe Theatre and an anti-Stratfordian, shoud be
considered for Richard. By the way, he is speaking in April at the
Oxfodian Conference at Concordia University in Portland, Oregon.
And he does look very much Ricardian!
The issue of "casting Richard III" was brought up by the Megan's
teacher (obviously as a way of not dealing with the real issues) and
maybe she should be directed to the Forum archives (just kidding!)
I still maintain that any serious look at the life and times of
Richard III should begin with the Society's excellent websites. If
a person really wants to pursue understanding the Ricardian
Question, these are great sources for doing just that.

Janet
P.S. I don't think Elijah Woods is a good fit. Those eyes are just
too disconcerting.
