D.M. Loades' "Two Tudor Conspiracies"
D.M. Loades' "Two Tudor Conspiracies"

Has anyone read this? It was published about forty years ago and was
one of Hicks' sources for the Thomas Stafford entry in the New DNB.
Is he related to Channel 4's weapons man?
After my talk on TS (Saturday), there is possibly more to know about
him, with his 450th execution anniversary coming up on 28 May 2007.

Well, I borrowed it from the library on Sunday. I haven't had time to
read anything yet but TS features heavily in the index, mostly over
the
Scarborough rebellion. I think the "Two Conspiracies" are Grey-Dudley
and Wyatt (1553-4) in which Thomas featured.
I will keep you all posted!
