.... whom I normally respect, has just written an article in
the "Spectator", saying that the present Government has introduced "a
culture of lying not seen in the highest spheres of government since
the days of R3".
We may all have our opinions about his main point but this use of
Richard's reign as a comparison is unacceptable, even if he is talking
about the King's contemporaries.

Incidentally, after about five shows, the Two Ronnies Sketchbook
finally featured the rhyming slang vicar.
