In view of the fuss Hicks book has made I had hoped someone from the
Society might have posted a remembrance for today which is Queen Anne
Neville's birthday, the 550th in fact.
But they haven't, so I am.
Many happy returns your grace!

Let nobody forget what is upon us again tomorrow, and remember those
who died fighting for their rightful and anointed king on the morning
of August 22nd 1485.
I shall keep vigil.

Yes, it's mostly up for the external audience, but I
suppose I should mention it here as well. Paul, you'll
note that your article is still part of the Bosworth
section.

Remember

A couple of hours late, but let's not forget the men who died on 29th
March 1461, at Towton in Yorkshire. The victory put the rightful heir
of Edward III on the throne of England, Edward of York becoming King
Edward IV, and his brothers George and Richard royal princes.
The bloodiest battle ever fought on English soil.
Many died. Give them a thought today.

nope..but you are the first.
on oct 2, 1452 these were richard's birth planets
sun in libra, believes in justice, moon in taurus, a gentle sort with a love of the arts, possibly a great singing voice, but liked to acquire wealth, could be very stubborn/ determined emotionally. domestic security very important. very loyal/steadfast in love.
mercury in libra..29th degree (this is a fate degree, i'll have to look this up to be more clear).
this was a man with a keen sense of justice and sharp wit. had he been born on oct 3. he would have had a scorpio mercury..biting scarcastic wit.
venus in scorpio, he loved passionately and cared deeply.
mars retrograde in aries, hot tempered, loved a good debate/arguement. he didn't always pick the right side of an arguement. his temper could blind him to details others could see that would lead him into trouble. little tolerance to for the lazy, or dull witted.
jupiter, the benefactor in aquarius, cared about other people more than his own immediate family. saturn the restrictor, in libra. wasn't always treated fairly.
when i have time, i'll have a better look at delineating his chart. his scorpio ascendant/rising did not mean he was a scorpio, or even that his birthdate was changed. it means he was born at the hour of scorpio. for a libra/oct. 2 birth. this means he was born about dawn. scorpio rising.
in the 15thC astrologers used only these 7 planets.
cheers to king richard, a very complicated and intriguing man.
