Just wanted to remind people that there was a precedent. The Countess of Salisbury was attainted by the Parliament of 1458.
I suspect Lady Salisbury was the first woman ever to be attainted, and the last until the reign of H8.

I have also encountered in the parliament rolls, a precedent for the disposal of a living woman's property as if she were already dead. Can I find it again.
Anyone else remember?
