Possible child of Richard?

I found this genealogy site and it mentioned a possible son of Richard's named Stephen Hawes. Anyone know anything about him?

I wonder which came first, the chicken or the egg?
This list is also in Given-Wilson and Curteis, _The
Royal Bastards of England_. I once asked Given-Wilson
where they'd gotten this information and he shrugged.
