A better, fairer, play than Shakespeare's

Re: A better, fairer play than Shakespeare's:
I have been reading the group's discussions for some time, and now feel able to contribute.
Well-informed people have written balanced, rational books and papers about Richard III and his times since the Buck team (uncle and nephew) in the 1620s, but until Shakespeare's play has the shine knocked off it by the competition, Richard will be for ever scorned.
There is no competition, I hear you cry. O yes there is! I took action on that front some years ago, spending four years writing a better, fairer play than Shakespeare's -- and doing it meticulously in Shakespeare's English. And if you think that is not possible, you can download "What is it? And why" from my web site to see how it was done.
You can also read much of three acts from "Dark Sovereign"* with ancillary information on my web site, RobertFripp.ca. Choose "Dark Sovereign" and select among four pdf files.
(* Read 'dark' as 'unknown', as in the Tudor-era expression "dark horse".)
"Dark Sovereign" can compete head-on against the Bard's effort and knock the stuffing out of it.
"Dark Sovereign" has been workshopped at the Stratford (Ontario) Festival, and has had good reviews from both senior theatre and English faculty people. You can download those reviews. If anyone can suggest theatrical producers in the North of England who would like to make a fortune defending a "Son of York" while dethroning the Bard's last word on Richard III, please let me know.
And if anyone is interested in hearing a lecture or readings from "Dark Sovereign" next time I'm in the U.K. (probably late September) let's discuss. You can find me at <r_fripp@...>.
P.S.: RobertFripp.ca is a Canadian site. I have lived in Toronto for many years, though I spend two months each year in Dorset, where I grew up.
Robert Fripp
Author, "Dark Sovereign"
(Being the play William Shakespeare should have written)
