As Neil reminded us this morning, Caxton issued his first dated,
printed book in England today in 1477. So why is printing featured in
the BBC's "What the TUDORS did for us"?
Henry VII pre-dated his reign by one by one day. The BBC seem to have
done it by eight years, at a time when Edward IV and Clarence were
still alive!
