Though I am a bit skeptical, Minster Lovell is purported to be one of
the most haunted ruins in Britain. Our Francis and a newlywed bride of
a previous lord are said to pop up every now and then. The lady's
story is suspiciously similar to the one one oft repeated about
Francis. It seems she was accidently locked in a trunk on her wedding
day, remains found years later, or something to that effect.Lovely
looking spot, have to put it on my to do list.*sigh*
Bet Stephen Lark can give us the rundown on Thomas Lovell. They had to
have at least been "cousins", no?

And here's an appropriately atmospheric image.

Well although I thought Minster Lovell as being beautiful/tranquil and not at all spooky I
must say I would not care to spend a dark night there. I think the Cotswolds are one of
the most beautiful parts of England but if your driving along at night, no other cars, and
the old mist starts rolling of the fields you dont really want to be lingering.

I shall have a go, next time I go to the library. Castelli seems not to
have them.
