Dear Group,
I would like to introduce a new and exciting group dedicated to
British history: The Sceptred Isle. The group was founded on the
9th September 2005 by myself. The group focuses primarily on
Medieval British history, but covers a whole range of fascinating
topics from Anglo-Saxon England, through the Conquest and the kings
of Medieval England, from the Refomation and the Civil War
(especially Cromwell) right up to the
19th and 20th centuries, including naval and military heritage. Its
not just the history of kings and
queens, but also the normal people who lived throughout the ages.
All are welcome, whether you are just casually interested or an
expert in the field, wherever you are in the world.
The group is at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sceptredisle
I hope you can join our community!
Many thanks

Having just read Scepted Isle, our Richard has been described
as "infamous". What are we all going to do about that?
