Dear friends,

It's the first email I'm posting on this forum, and its already a demand!
Please don't knock me out!
I'm working in palaeography and history of litterature (in France) and I'm
editing a manuscript that belonged to Edward the IVth's collection. Since my
"guy" was your "guy"'s brother, I hope somebody has an idea, no matter how
vague.
What I desperately need (and I cannot find out) is a catalogue of king
Edward's library or any other secondary infos related to this subject.
Can anybody give me a piece of advice/information?
Thanks a lot,

Vladimir

There is a list of 45 books probably owned by Edward IV on pages 84-86
at the end of the article on 'Choosing a Book in Late
Fifteenth-Century England and Burgundy' by Sutton and Visser-Fuchs.
That essay forms item 3 in 'England and the Low Countries in the Late
Middle Ages' edited by Barron and Saul; Alan Sutton Publishing, 1995:
ISBN 0-7509-0861-0.
