Do you remember me saying that I could connect Richard's collateral
descendants to every significant event for two centuries from Bosworth?
Now I can include the bicentenary event - the Monmouth rebellion - in
this. Viscount Lumley was involved in supressing this and was created
Earl of Scarborough in 1690.
Of course, this claim is subject to their descent from Edward IV but a
dispensation of 1489 should convince most people. I shall amend the
file soon.
