Another little project

Thanks to the Society, I was able to watch UKTV History's "My Famous Family" with Bill Oddie, featuring a nurse named Rachael Corfield who is descended from the Countess of Salisbury.

As many of you will have predicted, I have started to trace this descent on the reliable websites I know. I have reached Harriet d'Ewes (married to Thomas Havers), daughter of Sir Simonds Bt. who died in 1722.

So the job is half-complete. Perhaps that was the easy half because of the titles (Clarence, Salisbury, Montagu, Huntingdon, Clinton of Lincoln, d'Ewes baronets). The remaining part consists solely of commoners but is a simple male line, which may be difficult to verify in the library.
