Actually, it's not. It's a version of the Henry VI plays made in the
1960s. I did see 'The Wars of the Roses' to which you refer: with
Kathleen Turner, Michael Douglas and Danny DeVito.

Judging by the cast, I suspect it is a film of the plays as put on at
the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, when they did the full history cycle
from Richard II to Richard III under the title "The Wars of the
Roses". Certainly Ian Holm played Richard III in that cycle (and
possibly Henry V as well), and David Warner played Richard II so could
have doubled-up as Henry VI.
