Secrets of the Inquisition

Have just finished watching the series, "Secrets of the Inquisition",
released by Nomad Distribution (Australia) in October. The narrator is
Canadian actor, Colm Feore. The series is quite good. It's done in the
now-favoured docudrama style. Not sure if it's hit PBS or the Beeb yet.

One of the more interesting points made in the series, and one that we
often forget, is that, regardless of our 'take' on moral relativism, we
must remember to judge an era by its cultural standards. The Roman
Catholic Church spent a lot of centuries fighting for its life against
very real internal and external threats.
