Well done Bill, you really do keep your eye on the ball!!!!
I was there and I can say that it was fantastic fun!! The Company of
Palm Sunday 1461 were great. Even though they must give the same
talks and demonstrations fairly frequently, they show no signs of
being jaded. They are happy to talk to eveyone individually at great
length and I learnt a great deal. It was wonderful to see how the
youngest were included. In the bill fight, screaming A Clifford A
clifford was one little two year old chap ( albeit with a bill that
was...bill-less)
But for me, the most moving moment was the wreath laying preceded by a
march by the chaps in murrey and blue to a drum beat. Some may have
thought it cheesey but it was very evocative.
Should anybody get a chance to see these guys, then I can heartily
recommend them.
