Beginner's Latin

There is an online Latin tutorial in 12 lessons, from the National
Archives, UK, that will allow people to read relatively modern documents
(from 1086 to 1733) written in Latin.

I've got to see how well I remember my high school Latin. I do remember
'semper ubi sub ubi".

Thank you for this Bill. I shall give this a try. My Latin is useless. In
the meantime I'm wondering if someone would be able to help me out. I'm
writing a book about the Wars of the Roses and am trying to find a
translation (preferably online) of the "Registrum Abbatiae" of John of
Whethamstede, Abbot of St Albans in the mid fifteenth Century.
I will be eternally grateful if anybody can help me.
Thank you!
