Found her again!

Jane Birkin, that is - actress, singer and Anne of Exeter descendant as
she is on van der Pas. I remember that the connection is through the
Russells, closely relating her to three Prime Ministers and a
philosopher.
Her paternal grandmother was a Russell and JB herself is, of course,
Charlotte Gainsbourg's mother.
