Has anyone seen the magazine adverts for "The Tudors"? In the center
of the photo is Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Henry seated on a posh chair
and behind him stand three headless women(Har, Har!)with what romance
novelists would call "heaving bossoms"--we're talkin' cleavage here.
What's even more ironic is that it premiers on April Fool's Day on
Showtime.
I must say that my curiousity is up about this TV series/docu-drama
but I think I'd rather sit in a vat of acid and pound nails into my
head.

Good question. I just recited that little ditty
Henry VIII to six wives was wedded
One died, one survived, two divorced, two beheaded
Maybe "The Tudors" throws in Jane Grey for some reason

Or maybe it was Henry's aunt, Clarence's daughter, the Duchess of Salisbury, who Henry
had executed. She (by then an elderly lady) managed to escape from the scaffold, and was
chased around and hacked to death by the executioner.

I haven't seen the ad, but I'd bet that none of the headless women
behind Henry is an old lady. I bet they're all as shapely (ie,
busty) as the costumes will permit.

Found on another Yahoo forum -
Yahoo installed a software upgrade yesterday designed to improve the
time-to-post performance of their groups. A bug caused their mail
server to send a copy of each message to itself as well as to list
members. It treated each message it had sent to itself as a new
message, and so sent it out as a new message to the membership and also
sent a copy to itself, and so on. They claim to have installed a patch
to solve the problem, and indeed it seems to be quieting down somewhat.
With a little luck, Yahoo won't try to upgrade its Groups service again
for a while.
Aren't computers wonderful ?

You might also want to check your settings in forums from which you
normally receive a lot of traffic, but from which submission seem to
have dried up. Yahoo can sometimes bounce your settings from 'individual
emails' to 'no emails'. You need to reset your preferences.

To all:
The multiple postings were a glitch with Yahoo. There is no need to check your settings.

Neil:
I was referring to an additional problem experienced with Yahoo over the
past few weeks. As I mentioned in my post, the problem had to do with
people who were no longer receiving email posts from their forums, when
such posts had normally been delivered.
