More than 500 years after the Battle of Bosworth Field, experts are
divided on where the clash took place.
A tiny heraldic trinket - an eagle with wings spread standing on a
branch - was found by volunteers working for Leicestershire County
Council who have been searching in the vicinity of the visitor
centre at Ambion Hill.

Ann:
I don't suppose these people would confuse an eagle with a
falcon?

I'm sure they know more about the subject than I do, but an eagle
with outspread wings, standing on a branch, sure sounds to me like a
symbol of Imperial Rome.

What people tend to forget is that there was also a minor battle
around Ambien during the civil ar of the 1600s so a lot of odd things
could turn up.
