Genuine Richard III Silver Boar Badge

For interested members, I have for sale a genuine 15th century silver
and gold gilt livery badge of Richard as Duke of Gloucester c. 1471. It
has to be one of the finest surviving examples known, even better than
those in the British Museum. The badge is more of a collar pendant
having a loop of the back which would have secured it to a chain of
office. As such it would have been worn by one of Richard's retained
knights or household staff. Almost certainly would have come into close
contact with Richard as Duke of Gloucester, and I am sure would have
originally been held by Richard as he bestowed it to his knights.
