Did anyone see the article in the Daily Mail on Saturday acquiting
Richard of the murder of the princes. A guy has claimed that the
younger prince was transferred to Colchester (Edward having died of
natural causes) after the death of Richard and kept his identity secret.

First of all "acquitting Richard of the murder"? I have to ask - what
murder? Nobody has yet discovered any crime.

As for David Baldwin's theory (this man let us not forget has
Elizabeth Woodville as a heroine) :- Many points make it not even
take off as a theory for me, the main ones being that the boy was
taken to meet Richard before Bosworth, who considered naming him his
heir; and that Henry VII visited him 3 times and did nothing about
him. Considering what the Tudor did to the other members of the
Plantagenet clan this seems pretty unbelievable.

you know, this reminds me of a novel I read several
years ago -- same premise -- I will try to find the
book. Which means, of course, that it is not a "new"
theory as stated in the article.
