Do you remember a thread about him last year or 2005, commenting on
his frequent Ricardian themes:
1) The Rhyming slang sermon in which a "Richard III" is a bird.
2) Peter Sellers declaiming "A Hard Day's night" dressed as Laurence
Olivier.
3) (with Corbett) a scene from Shakespeare's play, mentioning as many
TV programmes as possible.
4) Something I have forgotten but someone else is sure to remind me.
Two of his other characters, I now recall were:
5) The short-sighted removals man, CLARENCE Sale.
6) The lecherous photographer, PLANTAGENET Evans.
This is just too much to be coincidental - he must have been a keen
Ricardian.
