New TV series planned?

New TV series planned?

Eric
I noticed in the 'Radio Times' that came today (6 - 12 October issue)
that the article about the 'Robin Hood' villains played by Richard
Armitage and Keith Allen ended with Armitage saying that he has
"plans to rehabilitate one of history's great villains with a proposed
TV series on Richard III", explaining that "Shakespeare wrote a piece
of Tudor propaganda really". [Page 18]

Does anyone have any more information about the proposed series?

Hi, y'all...my name is Lynn and I'm a member of the R3's American branch and
e-mail group -- I've never posted on this yahoo group though I read all the
time. Anyway, it just happens I'm a huge fan of Richard Armitage and, while
there isn't a whole lot I can impart on the R3 series, I do know that
Richard Armitage was born in Leicester on August 22 and was actually named
after R3 -- so this is something that is near and dear to his heart. I
would imagine that if this comes to pass, RA will play R3, though he's a bit
too tall for the part. I visit a couple of Richard Armitage fan forums so if
anything definite comes up, I'll be happy to let you know.

oooooooooh! Lynn thanks for your post. Ever since I saw North and South I thought he'd be a good Richard. Nice to know he thinks so too!
Cheers,
Mishka

This is a message which was posted on one of the Richard Armitage
message boards and thought it might be of some interest:

"Hello to everyone

It has been truly inspirational to see all of your research and
knowledge on Richard III. It has been both heart-warming and made me
laugh out loud with delight. The project is going well but is at quite
a delicate stage right now so there's not really too much to say other
than we are determined to see it come to fruition. The minute there is
any news I am sure Richard will be in touch. For now though by way of
a very heartfelt thank you for your incredible support, wit and
tenacity here is a very small clue as to the story's content:

'Loyaulte me lie'

Love to you all and God bless.
