Hi everyone,

For those who didn't find something Ricardian under the Christmas tree, maybe you'd like to
come and visit us at www.loyaltybindsme.com?

I work for a small professional dvd production company. We've spent over a year
reconstructing Middleham Castle as a computer model, to restore the grand residence to its
15th century glory. This breath-taking castle is woven into a 45 minute guided tour of the
place Richard once called *home*. We think we have something kind of unique : ) The DVD is
available in PAL and NTSC, and we also have the first series of prints to buy online.

I hope some of you will come and see what we've done.

Some of the Society executives have seen and enjoyed the disc so I hope by posting here you
can too : ) Have a look at the trailer on our site and see for yourself!

Abi Fox

PS. And in case any of you were wondering, we're already working on the next disc in The
Richard III Collection - Sandal Castle.

Barnard Castle is also the name of a town. One of my ancestors was born there.

By the way, I just joined the group. I'm Colleen from Minnesota. I have a degree in Tudor/Stuart history and another one in English literature. I was always more in favor of Richard III than I was of Henry VII. And certainly I don't think that Richard killed his nephews or had them killed.

Thanks for all the suggestions for future castles. We can make no promises about which
castles we will cover but if we don't get enough sales with Middleham Castle: A Royal
Residence then we won't be able to fund any more reconstructions : ) So please hop over
to www.loyaltybindsme.com and pick up a copy of the disc and maybe a print too. I don't
think you'll be disappointed.

Take care,
Abigail

Welcome Colleen. try not to mention the Tydder too often though!!:-)
Barnard Castle has a room above the window of which Richard's boar
ensignia is carved. It has the most beautiful view, and I often think
how calming it must have been for Richard sitting there looking out.
The town is small and stands behind the castle. A place I wouldn't
mind living.

Welcome Colleen. It's good to have you. I trust you will be able to
explain my eccentric spelling.

Everyone! I'm in a couple of other groups with Colleen. She's great.
The fact that she knows me should not reflect on her. It's an accident.
