I have recently joined the group and the society and want to thank you for including me in your group.
I have been a supporter of Richard III ever since seeing Shakespeare's play as a teenager (I've always been one to support the perceived underdog and rail against injustice).
I will be keeping a low profile for sometime yet, as I do not feel I have enough knowledge to offer opinions until I have done a lot more reading. It is fascinating to read others views though and I hope to join in in due course. I have always had the feeling that he was a sad man who really didn't want power and politics, just his family and his soldiering - Loyalty Binds Me is certainly how I see him. He did what he felt he had to for his family and his country.
